The hearing on the 4 motion for temporary restraining order, currently set for January 5, 2026, is VACATED. Respondents shall file any opposition to the 4 motion for temporary restraining order by January 9, 2026. Any response shall provide the Court with copies of all referenced/relevant portions of petitioner's A-File, in addition to all of the following documents if they were provided to petitioner: (1) Form I-862, Notice to Appear; (2) Form I-220A, Order of Release on Recognizance; (3) Form I-286, Notice of Custody Determination; (4) any document authorizing parole; and (5) any and all available records documenting and/or detailing the nature of any alleged violations of supervised release. MINUTE ORDER signed by District Judge Kirk E. Sherriff on 1/05/2026: (Text Only Entry). Pending the Court's decision on the 4 motion for temporary restraining order, and unless and until the Court orders otherwise, the Court ORDERS that respondents shall not transfer petitioner out of this District. See F.T.C. v. Dean Foods Co., 384 U.S. 597, 604 (1966) (noting court's "express authority under the All Writs Act to issue such temporary injunctions as may be necessary to protect its own jurisdiction"). Under the circumstances, the Court finds that this Order is warranted to maintain the status quo pending the Court's order on the 4 motion. (Deputy Clerk VMG) (Entered: 01/05/2026)
