MINUTE ORDER (text only) made at the direction of Judge Tana Lin: On 2/12/2026, the Court granted Petitioner's petition for writ of habeas corpus (Dkt. No. 7 ) and ordered Respondents to release Petitioner from detention no later than 5:00 p.m. on 2/13/2026. Dkt. No. 27 . The Court also ordered Respondents to submit to the Court, within 24 hours of Petitioner's release, a declaration confirming Petitioner's release and informing the Court of the date and time of his release. Id. No declaration has been filed and is now three days overdue. However, the Court will give Respondents the benefit of the doubt that they did not comply with the Order due to the long holiday weekend. Respondents are therefore ORDERED to advise the Court of Petitioner's detention status no later than 5:00 p.m. on 2/18/2026, and to explain their noncompliance with the Courts Order.
