ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Respondents' e-mail request that the Court allow Petitioner to appear and offer testimony via videoconference. The Court acknowledges that producing Petitioner in person may present some logistical difficulties for Respondents, but 28 U.S.C. § 2243 requires that "the person to whom the writ is directed shall be required to produce at the hearing the body of the person detained." Consistent with that statutory directive, Respondents were ordered to produce Petitioner in person for the previously set hearing. That order remains in force. Ordered by Judge Ann L. Aiken.
