Respondents filed their response to petitioner Dagmar Jesus Diaz-Gonzalez's habeas petition and motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) four days late, and hours before Diaz-Gonzalez's deadline to file a reply. See 19 (order setting briefing schedule); 21 (late response). Diaz-Gonzalez moves to strike the late response or, at the very least, extend his deadline to reply. The court will hear argument on the motion to strike at the TRO hearing on Tuesday, February 17, 2025.
