ORDER DISMISSING CASE: Yoel Felix Senuan, who is currently in the custody of the West Tennessee Detention Facility in Mason, Tennessee, has filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. (Doc. No. 1 ). He paid the filing fee. (Doc. No. 1-2). District courts are limited to granting habeas relief "within their respective jurisdictions." 28 U.S.C. § 2241(a). Because the West Tennessee Detention Facility is located in Mason, Tennessee (Tipton County) and falls within the territorial jurisdiction of the Western District of Tennessee, the petition must be filed there. Accordingly, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1406(a), the Clerk SHALL transfer this action to the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, Western Division.
