District Judge Margaret R. Guzman: ORDER entered. ORDER CONCERNING SERVICE OF PETITION AND STAY OF TRANSFER OR REMOVAL. Pending further order of the Court, Respondents shall ensure that Petitioner receives appropriate medical evaluation, treatment, and care, including prescribed medication and other medically necessary treatment. If a licensed medical practitioner determines that Petitioner requires care that cannot adequately be provided at the facility where Petitioner is detained, Respondents shall promptly arrange for Petitioners transfer to an appropriate medical facility or take other necessary measures to ensure that Petitioner receives such care. If a licensed medical practitioner determines that continued detention or any delay in providing necessary care poses a substantial risk of serious harm to Petitioners health that cannot be adequately addressed while Petitioner remains in custody, Respondents shall immediately release Petitioner. Any transfer or release pursuant to this Order for medical reasons shall not be construed as a waiver of any partys arguments or positions in any immigration proceeding. Respondents shall provide a status report by email to Suzanne_Frisch@mad.uscourts.gov, copying Petitioners counsel, by Friday, October 23, 2026.
