The claims Petitioner raises in the 1 Petition, which she filed on 7/9/25, challenges the lawfulness of her custody under 8 U.S.C. § 1321(a)(6). On 12/17/25, the Court stayed this case during the pendency of her immigration proceeding because, as a consequence of that proceeding being reopened, she was no longer detained under § 1321(a)(6) and instead was being detained under 8 U.S.C. § 1226(a).
