TEXT ORDER: The Court has received and reviewed the Government's Response filed on October 15, 2026. Dkt. No. 5 . The Court notes that the Response includes two Exhibits which suggest that Petitioner may be detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility located at 4250 Federal Drive, Batavia, New York. See Dkt. No. 5-1 at 1 (listing Petitioner's U.S. address as "4250 Federal Drive, Batavia, New York, 14020"); Dkt. No. 5-2 at 1 (same). The Court further notes that the Petition alleges that Petitioner was in the custody of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and detained at the Wellesley Island Station located at 45764 Landon Road, Wellesley Island, New York, at the time he filed his Petition. Dkt. No. 1 at paras. 28-29. The Court accordingly ORDERS that Respondents file a status report by 5 p.m. on October 16, 2026 informing the Court as to Petitioner's whereabouts, including if applicable the approximate times at which he departed the Northern District of New York and arrived in the Western District of New York.
