District Judge Angel Kelley: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. On October 9, 2026 at 5:33 PM, Petitioner Cidelson Corra Ribeiro filed a Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, challenging his detention without a bond hearing. [Dkt. 1]. On October 13, 2026, Respondents filed a Notice, which informed the Court that Petitioner was transferred to Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls, Rhode Island on October 9, 2026. [Dkt. 7]. In response, Petitioner acknowledged that if Petitioner was transferred to Wyatt before the Petition was filed, "this Court consequently lacks jurisdiction." [Dkt. 8 at 3]. Petitioner requested the Court transfer this case to the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, in the event that Petitioner was transferred to Wyatt before the Petition was filed. [Id.]. Respondents subsequently submitted proof that Petitioner arrived at Wyatt Detention Center at 5:15 PM on October 9, 2026, before the Petition was filed with this Court. [Dkt. 16]. Accordingly, the Court lacks jurisdiction and TRANSFERS the Petition to the District of Rhode Island. (CEH) (Entered: 10/22/2026)
