ORDER. Upon review of the 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241, Petitioner shall SERVE Respondents pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4 on or before 10/12/2026. Petitioner shall promptly file proof of such service on the docket, and counsel for Respondents shall promptly enter their notices of appearance. Petitioner shall also provide notice to the United States Attorney's Office by email promptly upon notice of this Order and shall include a copy of the Petition and a copy of this Order. Within seven days of the Notice to the United States Attorney's Office, Respondents shall [RESPOND to the Motion, if any, and] SHOW CAUSE why the Petition should not be granted. Unless otherwise ordered by the Court, if Respondents do not file a response to the Petition by this deadline, Petitioner shall be released from custody no later than 24 hours after the response deadline, and Respondents shall file, no later than seven days after the response deadline, a status report informing the Court that Petitioner has been released.Pursuant to the All Writs Act, 28 U.S.C. § 1651(a) Respondents SHALL NOT REMOVE Petitioner from the District of Colorado unless or until this Court or the Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit vacates this Order.
