MINUTE ORDER: Petitioners' motion for a temporary restraining order (Dkt. 2 ) is DENIED. The motion does not show a likelihood of imminent, irreparable harm such as transfer, removal, or severe medical need that must be addressed on an emergency basis. The motion seeks immediate release from custody based on the allegations in the underlying habeas petition (Dkt. 1 ) and essentially asks the Court to expedite habeas relief. The Court has now entered its standard habeas scheduling order (Dkt. 3 ) which requires notice to Petitioners before transferring either of them from NWIPC (which would allow them time to file an emergency motion if needed) and sets a briefing schedule so that the Court can promptly rule on the petition once it has a full record and briefing. Petitioners remain able to request a custody redetermination (bond) hearing from the immigration court at any time. Entered at the direction of District Judge Tiffany M. Cartwright. (JDM)(cc: Petitioners via USPS) (Entered: 10/07/2026)
