District Judge Angel Kelley: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. On December 22, 2025, Petitioner filed Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, seeking a stay against his transfer out of the District of Massachusetts pending his custody redetermination before an immigration judge. [Dkt. 1]. On December 23, 2025, this Court stayed Petitioner’s transfer, ordered service to the Respondents, and required Respondents to respond to the Petition. [Dkt. 3]. On December 26, 2025, Respondents submitted a Response, arguing that Petition is unripe, and the sole relief of stay is beyond the scope of habeas jurisdiction. [Dkt. 8].Since Respondents’ Response on December 26, 2026, Petitioner has neither contested Respondents’ assertions nor updated this Court with any status on Petitioner’s detention.
