District Judge Angel Kelley: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. On December 22, 2025, Petitioner filed Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, seeking a stay against his transfer out of the District of Massachusetts pending his custody redetermination before an immigration judge. [Dkt. 1]. On December 23, 2025, this Court stayed Petitioner’s transfer, ordered service to the Respondents, and required Respondents to respond to the Petition. [Dkt. 3]. On December 26, 2025, Respondents submitted a Response, arguing that Petition is unripe, and the sole relief of stay is beyond the scope of habeas jurisdiction. [Dkt. 8].Since Respondents’ Response on December 26, 2026, Petitioner has neither contested Respondents’ assertions nor updated this Court with any status on Petitioner’s detention. Accordingly, Petitioner is ORDERED to respond to Respondents’ Response by June 8, 2026.(CEH) (Entered: 06/01/2026)

[Dkt. 1]. On December 23, 2025, this Court stayed Petitioner’s transfer, ordered service to the Respondents, and required Respondents to respond to the Petition. [Dkt. 3]. On June 1, 2026, the Court directed the Petitioner to respond to Respondents' Response by June 8, 2026. Petitioner, however, did not file any reply or supplemental briefing as ordered by the Court. As a result, without further information on legality of the detention, Petition does not present a suitable claim under habeas jurisdiction in this case.
