MINUTE ORDER (Text Only Entry). The Court has reviewed the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, ECF No. 1, and the declaration of Christy Morales Martinez, ECF No. 2 . Respondent shall file a response to the Petition by October 13, 2026. The response shall address the statutory and factual bases for Petitioner's detention and the current status of his immigration proceedings. Any response must include Petitioner's (A-File # 241-327-302) full and complete Form I-213, any immigration detainers, any orders of release or detention, any custody warrants or notices, and any other portions of Petitioner's A-File relevant to the issues presented, including any order granting voluntary departure, any alternative order of removal, documentation of any appeal, and records concerning efforts to obtain travel documents. Respondent shall also provide any criminal records relied upon to justify Petitioner's detention, including documentation of the disposition of his Dallas County criminal case. Failure to timely respond shall be construed as a non-opposition. See L.R. 230(c). Petitioner may file a reply by October 27, 2026. The Clerk of Court is directed to mail a copy of this Order and the Petition, ECF No. 1, to Petitioner Jorant Antonio Infante Campbell, A-Number 241-327-302, at California City Immigration Processing Center, 22844 Virginia Blvd., California City, CA 93505. By October 14, 2026, Petitioner shall file a signed and verified copy of the Petition. If circumstances prevent Petitioner from doing so, Christy Morales Martinez may file a supplemental declaration describing those circumstances by the same date. Pending a ruling on the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, Respondent shall not transfer Petitioner out of this District without prior Court approval. See F.T.C. v. Dean Foods Co., 384 U.S. 597, 608 (1966) (noting the Court's "express authority under the All Writs Act to issue such temporary injunctions as may be necessary to protect its own jurisdiction"). Signed by Visiting Judge Mary K. Dimke on September 30, 2026. (Deputy Clerk CMV) (Entered: 09/30/2026)
