This is a text only entry; no document issued. ORDER granting in part and denying in part 2 Motion for TRO. Petitioner, who the Court understands is currently detained at the Stewart Detention Center in the Columbus Division of the Middle District of Georgia, contends that he is at risk of being removed to El Salvador imminently, although an immigration officer has found that he has a credible fear of danger if he is returned to El Salvador and although his claim for asylum has not been properly processed under the INA. He seeks a stay of his removal until his asylum claim is decided by an immigration judge. To maintain the status quo, the Court orders Respondents not to transfer Petitioner from Stewart Detention Center until the Court can hold a hearing on the motion for stay, which hearing shall be held at 3:00 P.M. on December 22, 2025 via video conference. Respondents are being notified of this order at 9:00 P.M. on December 21, 2025 by transmission to Middle District Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Morrill.
