District Judge F. Dennis Saylor, IV: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. Maicon Modolo filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus on September 25, 2026. (Dkt. No. 1 ). On September 28, 2026, the Court issued an order that directed respondents to answer the petition on or before October 5, 2026, and ordered that "petitioner shall not be moved outside the District of Massachusetts without first providing advance notice of the intended move" at least 72 hours before such a transfer. (Dkt. No. 4 ). Respondents did not timely answer the petition. Petitioner's counsel reports that petitioner was moved out of the District, potentially to a facility in Louisiana, without the advance notice required by the Court's prior order. (Dkt. No. 5 ). On or before October 8, 2026, respondents shall (1) respond to petitioner's contention that he was moved in violation of the Court's order, including by providing record evidence of the time and date of petitioner's transfer as well as his present location; and (2) answer the petition, as previously ordered.(CAM) (Entered: 10/06/2026)
