TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (ECF No. 1 ), Respondents' expedited response (ECF No. 4 ), and Petitioner's reply (ECF No. 5 ). Respondents have identified 8 U.S.C. § 1226(a) as the statutory basis for Petitioner's detention and have submitted a Notice of Custody Determination reflecting that Petitioner was determined to be eligible for release on a $7,500 bond. (ECF No. 4 -3.) To the extent Petitioner seeks review of the amount or conditions of his bond, Petitioner may request a bond redetermination before an Immigration Judge pursuant to 8 C.F.R. § 1003.19. The Court therefore declines to grant habeas relief on the present record. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the Petition is DENIED. The Clerk of Court shall CLOSE this matter. So Ordered by Judge Michael A. Shipp on 9/24/2026. (jab) (Entered: 09/24/2026)

TEXT ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Petitioner's October 3, 2026, correspondence (ECF No. 8 ), advising that the $7,500 bond identified in Respondents' September 17, 2026, response (ECF No. 4 ) was paid on September 26, 2026, but that Petitioner remains in immigration custody. The Court's September 24, 2026, Order denying the Petition and directing the Clerk to close this matter was based, in part, on Respondents' representation that Petitioner had been determined eligible for release upon payment of a $7,500 bond. In light of the changed circumstances alleged in ECF No. 8, the Court will reopen this matter. Respondents shall, by October 13, 2026, advise the Court whether the $7,500 bond has been paid, whether Petitioner remains in Respondents' custody, and, if so, the statutory and factual basis for Petitioner's continued detention notwithstanding payment of the bond. Respondents shall further advise whether Petitioner will be released and, if not, the anticipated date of release. The Clerk of Court is directed to reopen this matter pending further Order of the Court. So Ordered by Judge Michael A. Shipp on 10/8/2026. (jab) (Entered: 10/08/2026)
