MINUTES of Proceedings: Motion Hearing Held by videoconference before Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai regarding Motion for Temporary Restraining Order 3 . Unless otherwise ordered by this Court, Petitioner shall not be moved outside of the District of Washington or the District of Oregon without first providing advance notice of the intended move. Such notice must be filed in writing and on the docket in this proceeding and must state the reason that the Respondent believes that such a move is necessary and should not be stayed pending further court proceedings. In addition, Respondent is further ordered to state in any such notice the exact date and time that Petitioner will be removed from the Districts of Washington or Oregon. Once that notice has been filed on the docket, the Petitioner shall not be moved out of the District of Washington or the District of Oregon for a period of at least 48 hours from the time of the docketing. If the 48-hour period would end on a weekend or legal holiday, the period continues to run until the same time on the next day that is not a weekend or legal holiday. Fed. R. Civ. P. 6(a)(2)(C). This period may be shortened or extended as appropriate by further Court order. It is further ordered Petitioner is not to be removed from the United States without 48 hours' notice, as specified above. Petitioner's oral motion to amend the TRO is GRANTED. The Court understands that the relief now requested is a TRO barring Respondents from removing Petitioner from the United States absent further order from this Court. Deadline for Respondent to file a response to the TRO is 7/1/2025, Petitioner's Reply is due 7/8/2025, hearing on the Motion for the TRO is SET for 7/10/2025 at 1:30PM in Eugene Courtroom 1 before Judge Mustafa T.
