ORDER Respondents filed their Response to the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus on September 17, 2026. ECF No. 25. Having reviewed the Response and accompanying exhibits, the Court finds that limited supplementation is necessary to resolve the issues raised in the Petition. Accordingly, on or before September 29, 2026, Respondents shall file a supplemental response addressing the following:(1) Deferred action and employment authorization. State whether Petitioner's USCIS-granted deferred action and employment authorization presently remain in effect. If either has been terminated, revoked, or otherwise ceased to be effective, identify the date and legal and factual basis for that action and attach any relevant notice or decision. If deferred action remains in effect, explain how Respondents contend that Petitioner's continued detention is consistent with that grant.(2) Classwide relief. Address Petitioner's asserted membership in the Deferred Action Class certified in Immigration Center for Women and Children v. Noem, No. 2:25-cv-09848 (C.D. Cal.), identify the presently operative provisions of the relief entered in that action relevant to Petitioner, and explain whether and how those provisions affect her detention.(3) Custody determination and bond proceedings. State whether Petitioner has requested or received an immigration-judge bond hearing and, if so, provide the date, outcome, and relevant decision or record. Identify the individualized grounds presently relied upon to justify continued detention and attach any updated custody determination or supporting records. If no IJ bond hearing has occurred, Respondents shall expressly so state.Petitioner may file a reply within two (2) days after Respondents file their supplemental response.
