On or before August 18, 2026, Respondent is ORDERED to file a response to the petition addressing, at a minimum: (1) whether Petitioner appealed the July 14, 2026 order of the immigration judge denying his request for a change in custody status to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA); (2) if Petitioner did appeal, whether he raised in that appeal each of the grounds described in the petition, Dkt. EO: On August 11, 2026, the court instructed Respondent to file a response to the petition addressing, at a minimum, the following three questions: (1) whether Petitioner appealed the July 14, 2026 order of the immigration judge denying his request for a change in custody status to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA); (2) if Petitioner did appeal, whether he raised in that appeal each of the grounds described in the petition; and (3) the status of any such appeal before the BIA. Dkt. No. 7 . Although Respondent filed a reply on August 18, 2026, he did not address any of the three questions set forth above. Dkt. No. 8 . Respondent is ORDERED to supplement his reply with responses to those questions on or before August 20, 2026. Petitioner may file a traverse within seven days of Respondent supplementing his reply.
