ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE Petitioner Yender Chirinos-Pirona's motion for an order to show cause (Filing No. 2 ) is granted. Petitioner shall serve his petition for a writ of habeas corpus (Filing No. 1 ) and a copy of this order on Respondents as soon as is practicable, and file proof of such service with the Court. Respondents shall, within three business days of being served, make a return certifying the true cause of Petitioner's detention and showing cause why the writ should not be granted. Petitioner shall reply in support of his petition within three business days of the Respondents' return. The Court will then set a prompt hearing on this matter. MEMORANDUM AND ORDER - Petitioner Yender Chirinos-Pirona's petition for a writ of habeas corpus (Filing No. 1 ) is granted in part and denied in part, as set forth above. The Federal Respondents shall provide Petitioner with a bond hearing purs uant to 8 U.S.C. § 1226(a) and the corresponding regulations on or before August 28, 2026. If the Federal Respondents do not provide Petitioner with a bond hearing as required, Petitioner must be immediately released from detention. On or before September 4, 2026, the Federal Respondents shall provide the Court with a status update regarding the bond hearing or, if no bond hearing was held, advise the Court regarding Petitioner's release.
