District Judge Leo T. Sorokin: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. On July 27, 2026, the petitioner invoked 28 U.S.C. 2241 to challenge his detention by immigration authorities. Doc. No. 1. He sought orders preventing his transfer from Massachusetts, declaring his detention unlawful, and requiring the respondents to release him “without conditions such as ankle monitors.” Id. at 12-13. The respondents answered the petition on July 31 and notified the Court, with supporting documents, that they had released the petitioner from detention the previous day on an Order of Supervision. Doc. No. 9 ; see Doc. No. 9-1 at 1 (leaving unchecked box that would require electronic monitoring). The petitioner has made no further submissions.
