Order [non-document] Counsel filed a Motion (Request) for waiver of local counsel requirement, citing Local Rule 83.5(h). (Doc. No. 2 .) Local Rule 83.5(h) governs pro hac vice admission but does not require the appointment of local counsel. Local Rule 83.5(c) provides that "Unless otherwise ordered by the Court, it shall not be necessary for any attorney entitled to practice before the District Court or permitted to appear and participate in a case or proceeding to associate with or to designate an attorney with an office in this district upon whom notices, rulings, and communications may be served." The Court declines to issue an order requiring the appointment of local counsel in this case. Therefore, counsel's Motion (Request) for waiver of local counsel requirement is DENIED AS MOOT.
