PAPERLESS ORDER denying 5 Petitioner's Motion for Entry of Default Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure and for Immediate Release ("Motion"). Review of the record indicates that Respondents have filed a Response to Order to Show Cause and Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus Under 28 U.S.C. § 2241. See [ECF No. 6]. Defaults are disfavored given the "strong policy of determining cases on their merits." Sherrard v. Macy's Sys. & Tech. Inc., 724 F. App'x 736, 738 (11th Cir. 2018) (quoting In re Worldwide Web Sys., Inc., 328 F.3d 1291, 1295 (11th Cir. 2003)). And given Respondents were only briefly delayed in responding to the Order to Show Cause, the Court does not find good cause to grant Petitioner's Motion. Accordingly, the Motion is DENIED.
