Nunley on December 5, 2025: The Court has reviewed pro se Petitioner Simranjit Singh's ("Petitioner") Writ of Habeas Corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241. (ECF No. 1 .) The Court construes Petitioner's emergency request for injunctive relief as a request for a preliminary injunction. Accordingly, Respondents shall file any opposition to Petitioner's request for injunctive relief by December 11, 2025. Petitioner may file a reply, if any, by December 17, 2025. The Clerk of the Court SHALL serve a copy of this Order along with a copy of Petitioner's Petition (ECF No. 1 ), on the Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California. In the meantime, and unless and until the Court orders otherwise, the Court ORDERS that Respondents shall not remove Petitioner from the United States nor transfer petitioner out of this District.
