ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Petitioner seeks a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. The petition does not request emergency relief. Respondents are directed to show cause, on or before June 25, why the writ should not issue. See 28 U.S.C. § 2243; Rules Governing § 2254 Cases, Rule 4; see generally In re Habeas Corpus Cases, 216 F.R.D. 52 (E.D.N.Y. 2003). Petitioner shall serve this order and the petition on respondents by June 9 and file proof of such service on the docket. Petitioner's reply is due July 3. Petitioner is ordered to show cause on or before June 15 why his claim for relief under the Administrative Procedure Act should not be dismissed in light of Trump v. J.G.G., 145 S. Ct. 1003 (2025). See also Raspoutny v. Decker, 708 F. Supp. 3d 371, 380-81 (S.D.N.Y. 2023) (dismissing noncitizen's APA claim "because the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus... would provide an adequate remedy").
