Judge Myong J. Joun: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. In their Response to Habeas Petition, Doc. No. 7, Respondents acknowledge that the legal issues presented in this petition are similar to those resolved in prior cases in this district. Given this, and in light of the record before me, the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus is GRANTED. Respondents are ORDERED to provide Petitioner with a bond hearing under 8 U.S.C. § 1226(a) by July 23, 2026. The Respondents are ENJOINED from denying bond to Petitioner on the basis that he is detained pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1225(b)(2). Unless Petitioner was provided a bond hearing, Respondents shall release Petitioner by 6 PM on July 23, 2026. The Respondents are further ORDERED to file a status report within 24 hours of the Immigration Judge’s decision on bond, stating whether Petitioner has been granted bond, and, if his request for bond was denied, the reasons for that denial, or whether he has been released, and if so, the date, time, and location of his release. The Respondents should include a copy of the Immigration Judge’s decision with their status report.(SP) (Entered: 07/16/2026)

Judge Myong J. Joun: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered On July 12, 2026, Petitioner filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, seeking a bond hearing or, alternatively, immediate release. Doc. No. 1 . On July 16, 2026, I granted the Petition and ordered that Petitioner receive a bond hearing. See Doc. No. 9 . On August 14, 2026, Petitioner moved to enforce the habeas judgment, contending that Respondents failed to provide a constitutionally adequate bond hearing and that the Immigration Judge (“IJ”) applied incorrect legal standards in determining that Petitioner posed a flight risk. [Doc. No. 12 at 1-2]. Respondents oppose the motion, see generally Doc. No. 16, and submitted the evidentiary record from Petitioner’s bond hearing before the IJ.At the July 27, 2026 bond hearing, the IJ found, by a preponderance of the evidence, that Petitioner posed a flight risk and further concluded that no amount of bond or alternative to detention would adequately mitigate that risk. [Doc. No. 16-1 at 4]. Petitioner received the bond hearing ordered by this Court and the record reflects that the IJ considered the evidence presented and made the requisite findings in reaching the decision to deny bond. Petitioner’s disagreement with the IJ’s weighing of the evidence and ultimate determination does not establish that Respondents failed to comply with this Court’s habeas judgment. Accordingly, Petitioner’s motion to enforce the habeas judgment Doc. No. 10 is DENIED. (SP) (Entered: 08/20/2026)

Judge Myong J. Joun: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. Petitioner's request for release on the ground that the July 23, 2026 bond hearing violated due process, Doc. No. 18, is DENIED. As the Court previously determined on August 20, 2026, the bond hearing complied with the requirements of this Court's habeas judgment. See Doc. No. 17 .(SP) (Entered: 08/31/2026)
