MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 7/28/2026. Before the Court is the 8 Response to Service Order filed by Petitioner Jose Diha Andrade. In the 8 Response, Petitioner's counsel explains that Petitioner was granted asylum and released from Nevada Southern Detention Center (NSDC). (Resp. 1:19-2:2, ECF No. 8). However, Petitioner's counsel was not able to speak to Petitioner to independently verify whether he was released or whether the decision is on appeal. (Id. at 2:4-5). Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Respondents must file on the docket appropriate documentation (facility business records, affidavit, declaration, etc.) confirming that Petitioner was released from NSDC no later than July 31, 2026. MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 8/3/2026. On July 28, 2026, the Court ordered Respondents to file appropriate documentation on the docket confirming whether Petitioner was released from the Nevada Southern Detention Center (NSDC). (Order, ECF No. 9). In their 13 Status Report, Federal Respondents state that Petitioner was released from NSDC on July 10, 2026. Because the parties agree that Petitioner was released from detention, this Petition is now moot. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the [1-1] Petition is DENIED without prejudice as moot.
