District Judge Angel Kelley: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. Before the Court is Petitioner’s Writ of Habeas Corpus. [Dkt. 1]. The petition was filed on July 8, 2026. [Dkt. 1]. On July 21, 2026, Respondent filed its response, noting that Petitioner was provided a bond hearing on July 20, 2026, where the Immigration Judge found Petitioner to be a danger to the community by clear and convincing evidence. [Dkt. 10]. Petitioner was ordered to file any response to Respondent's Response no later than 12:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, but failed to do so and requested an extension until August 17, 2026. To date, Petitioner has not filed any response. Accordingly, because the Petitioner was provided with a bond hearing and has not demonstrated that the Immigration Judge failed to apply the constitutional standard at that bond determination, the Petition is denied.
