ORDER - Petitioner filed a motion for preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order alongside his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. (Docs. 1, 2 .) D. Ariz. General Order 26-09 established scheduling procedures to address the influx of immigration habeas petitions this District has been experiencing. The order places each of these cases on an expedited track. (Doc. 5 -1 at 2 -3.) Because of that expedited schedule, "[m]otions for temporary restraining orders should be reserved for cases where the petitioner alleges imminent, irreparable harm that cannot be addressed by the standard scheduling order..., such as imminent removal from the United States." (Doc. 5 -1 at 3 -4.) Petitioner's motion (Doc. 2 ) does not allege imminent harm that is not already addressed by the standard scheduling order and is therefore DENIED. Ordered by Judge Krissa M Lanham on 6/30/2026. This is a TEXT ENTRY ONLY. There is no PDF document associated with this entry. (NSH) (Entered: 06/30/2026)
