Judge Richard G. Stearns: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered re 6 Response to Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus - 2241 filed by Antone Moniz. Petitioner Anibal De Jesus Monrataya Rodriguez resides in Massachusetts and has been present in the United States since approximately 2008. He is a citizen of Guatemala and has a pending asylum claim. The Petition gives us little more factual detail about Mr. De Jesus Monrataya Rodriguez except that he is detained at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility.Based on this courts earlier rulings on bond requests, the government acknowledges that De Jesus Monrataya Rodriguez is due a bond hearing. The government must arrange a bond hearing for him before an Immigration Judge (consistent with the standards outlined in Hernandez-Lara v. Lyons, 10 F.4th 19 (1st Cir. 2021)), as soon as practicable, but in no case later than Monday, June 29, 2026. (MZ) (Entered: 06/24/2026)
