TEXT ORDER: On 6/12/2026, Maria M. Mayllazhungo Saeteros, proceeding pro se, filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Emergency Motion, as next friend to Petitioner Maria G. Maillazhungo Saeteros. (Dkt. No. 1 ). Having found good cause shown for the relief requested, Respondents are directed to file a response to the Petition no later than 6/16/2026. Any Response shall include updated information regarding Petitioner's location and any immigration proceedings being pursued. Petitioner shall file a reply by 6/22/2026, and in it Maria M. Mayllazhungo Saeteros shall "provide an adequate explanation-such as inaccessibility, mental incompetence, or other disability-why" Maria G. Maillazhungo Saeteros "cannot appear on her own behalf to prosecute the action." Iza by Iza v. Larocco, 25-cv-6915, 2026 WL 31378, at *8 (E.D.N.Y. Jan. 5, 2026). Respondents are enjoined from moving Petitioner outside the jurisdiction of the Northern District of New York until this civil action is resolved. The Clerk of the Court shall serve copies of this Order to Show Cause and the petition upon the United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York in accordance with the Local Rules. Respondents are directed to appear before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, located at 100 S. Clinton Street, Syracuse, New York 13261, on 6/24/2026, at 10:00AM, via video and SHOW CAUSE why the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus should not be granted. Maria M.
