/// ENDORSED ORDER. Text of Order: On today's date, the court held a video conference in this case. Attorneys Elizabeth Velez and Miguel Mariscal appeared for petitioner, and Attorney Jesse Renauld-Smith appeared for the federal respondents. The parties explained at today's hearing that petitioner has been released from custody pursuant to the Immigration Judge's bond order of June 10, 2026. Federal respondents further explained that ICE has initiated removal proceedings against the petitioner pursuant to 8 U.S.C. 1229a after issuing her a Notice to Appear charging her with being deportable under 8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(1)(C)(i). Federal respondents disavowed any intent to seek petitioner's removal from the country pursuant to the voluntary departure agreement she challenges in her petition before this court. In light of petitioner's release from custody and federal respondents' assurances that they will not rely upon the challenged voluntary departure agreement in seeking petitioner's removal, the parties agreed at today's hearing that the petition is moot. Doc. no. 1 is therefore dismissed as moot, and all pending motions are denied as moot. The clerk is respectfully directed to enter judgment and close the case. So Ordered by Judge Landya B. McCafferty.(de)
