ORDER. Before the Court is Petitioner's 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Respondents' 16 Response to Petition. Having considered the parties' filings under Zadvydas, the Court concludes that further briefing is necessary. As such, on or before August 27, 2026, Respondents shall file a supplemental response addressing: 1) the specific efforts to remove Petitioner from May 22, 2026, until today; 2) the circumstances surrounding the six-month delay between the selection of Mexico in November 2025 and the attempted removal of Petitioner in May 2026; 3) the obstacles (if any) in effectuating Petitioner's removal and the effects of these obstacles on the Zadvydas period; and 4) the new anticipated timeline for Petitioner's removal.
