On February 12, 2026, Petitioner filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus in another Session of this Court, 26-cv-10822, [Dkt. 1]. On June 8, 2026, Petitioner filed the instant Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus with this Court. [Dkt. 1]. In both Petitions, Petitioner alleges that his ongoing detention violates the INA and the Due Process Clause because he is detained pursuant to Section 1226(a), which permits discretionary detention, rather than Section 1225(b), as Respondents allege.
