ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE Respondents are ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE why Petitioner should not be released from custody based on Respondents failure to provide the individualized bond hearing required by the Court's prior Order by the deadline set therein. The response shall be supported by declaration, documentation, or both, and shall address: (1) when Petitioner's bond hearing was first scheduled; (2) who continued the hearing from June 9, 2026 to June 12, 2026; (3) why the hearing was not placed on the Immigration Court's June 12, 2026 calendar or otherwise did not proceed on that date; (4) when the scheduling error was discovered; (5) when Petitioner received notice of the June 15, 2026 hearing; (6) when Petitioner's counsel received notice of the June 15, 2026 hearing; (7) whether Petitioner and counsel had a meaningful opportunity to prepare for the June 15, 2026 hearing; (8) whether Petitioner or counsel requested a continuance; (9) whether any continuance request was denied; and (10) why the June 15, 2026 hearing, if held, should be deemed to satisfy the Court's prior habeas Order despite the missed deadline. Respondents shall also attach any notice of hearing, proof of service, custody redetermination order, written bond decision, minute entry, transcript, audio recording, or other record sufficient for the Court to determine whether Petitioner received the meaningful individualized bond hearing required by the Court's prior Order. Show Cause Response due by close of business on 6/17/2026. The Court will determine, after review of Respondents' submissions, whether release or other enforcement relief is warranted.
