District Judge F. Dennis Saylor, IV ELECTRONIC ORDER entered: Petitioner Shanbin Lin, an immigration detainee, has filed, through counsel, a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in this case. On February 13, 2026, petitioner filed in this court an initial petition for habeas corpus challenging his detention. Lin v. Noem, 26-cv-10830-IT (D. Mass.). That case was assigned to Judge Talwani. She granted the petition and ordered that petitioner be provided a bond hearing pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1226(a). An immigration judge then found petitioner to be a danger to the community by clear and convincing evidence and denied bond. In the present case, petitioner now challenges that bond hearing. Because this petition appears to be related to his initial petition under Local Rule 40.1, the clerk shall designate this case as related to Lin v. Noem, 26-cv-10830-IT (D.
