MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Richard F. Boulware, II on 6/16/2026.Before the Court is Petitioner's 13 Amended Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. Based on the Amended Petition, the Court finds Petitioner can likely establish his entitlement to relief pursuant to (i) Jacobo Ramirez v. Mullin, No. 2:25-cv-02136-RFB-MDC, 2026 WL 879799 (D. Nev. Mar. 30, 2026), and (ii) the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment. Therefore, Respondents are HEREBY ORDERED to SHOW CAUSE why the 13 Amended Petition should not be granted. See 28 U.S.C. § 2243. Specifically, Respondents must file a notice of appearance and a "return certifying the true cause of [Petitioner Pimental Herrera'] detention" by June 19, 2026. See id. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED Petitioner shall file a traverse by June 23, 2026. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Court's prior Orders regarding briefing, filing, scheduling, document production, and removal remain in full effect. See ECF No. 4 .
