MINUTE ORDER (TEXT ONLY): The Court has reviewed petitioner's 1 petition for writ of habeas corpus. The Court has addressed the legal issues raised by the 1 petition on previous occasions. See e.g., J.S.H.M. v. Wofford, No. 1:25-CV-01309-JLT-SKO (HC) (E.D. Cal. Oct. 16, 2025); Ortiz Donis v. Chestnut, No. 1:25-CV-01228-JLT-SAB (HC), 2025 WL 2879514 (E.D. Cal. Oct. 9, 2025); M.R.R. v. Chestnut, No. 1:25-CV-01517-JLT (HC), 2025 WL 3265446 (E.D. Cal. Nov. 24, 2025). On or before May 22, 2026, respondents are ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE as to whether there are any factual or legal issues in this case that render it distinguishable from the Court's prior orders in J.S.H.M. v. Wofford, Ortiz Donis v. Chestnut, and M.M.R. v. Chestnut and justify denying the petition, or indicate the matter is not substantively distinguishable. Pending the Court's decision, and unless and until the Court orders otherwise, the Court ORDERS that respondents shall not transfer petitioner out of this District. See F.T.C. v. Dean Foods Co., 384 U.S. 597, 604 (1966) (noting court's "express authority under the All Writs Act to issue such temporary injunctions as may be necessary to protect its own jurisdiction"). Minute order signed by Magistrate Judge Frank J. Singer on 5/18/2026. (Deputy Clerk EV) (Entered: 05/18/2026)
