NOTICE OF DEFICIENT PLEADING: On May 8, 2026, Petitioner Mittalben Sachinkumar Chaudhari filed a counseled petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. (Doc. 1 ). The petition is deficient because Ms. Chaudhari failed to file an application to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the filing fee of $5.00. Ms. Chaudhari must either file an application to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the filing fee of $5.00 to the Clerk of Court. An application to proceed in forma pauperis must be verified by an authorized officer of the institution and must be accompanied by a certified copy of prison account statements for the last six months. ORDER: The court GRANTS Mr. Chaudhari's motion for a temporary restraining order as to her request to prevent Respondents from transferring her out of the Etowah County Detention Center. (Doc. 2 at 10). The court also GRANTS the request to waive security. (Id. at 910). The court reserves ruling on the remaining requests in the motion for a temporary restraining order.
