ORDER re 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus filed by Julio Rivas Barrera The Court previously granted Petitioner's Petition for Habeas Corpus to the extent that ordered that he be given an individualized bond hearing. That hearing was conducted on June 10, 2026. The IJ determined that Petitioner should be released upon the terms and conditions of bond that had previously issued. Nevertheless the IJ recognized, and Respondents concede, that the $5000.00 bond previously posted was cancelled wrongly and through no fault of Petitioner. The Respondents concede that Petitioner should be immediately released without having to post another bond. The Court agrees. It is hereby ORDERED that Petitioner SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY RELEASED. No new bond shall be required. Respondents shall provide the Court prompt notice of their compliance with this order. Signed by Judge William S. Stickman on 6/12/26.
