TEXT ORDER: Sabino Oswaldo Luis Luis is currently in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement ("ICE") at the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, Rhode Island. He has a state court criminal proceeding scheduled for tomorrow, May 6, 2026, at 8:30 AM in the New Bedford District Court. Respondents, namely ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations ("ERO"), are hereby ORDERED to facilitate the transfer of Mr. Luis Luis to the New Bedford District Court in New Bedford, Massachusetts in sufficient time so that he may appear at his scheduled proceeding on May 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Luis Luis shall be returned to ICE ERO immediately after the conclusion of the above-referenced proceeding. Mr. Luis shall be immediately transported back to the Wyatt Detention Facility, barring unforeseen circumstances, such as medical issues or accidents that create delay. ICE ERO is reminded that it is otherwise prohibited from removing Mr. Luis Luis from Rhode Island without providing the Court with at least 72 hours advance notice of the move and the reason therefore.
