ELECTRONIC NOTICE OF JUDICIAL SCREENING AND STANDING ORDER. Judicial screening of this case is pending. See Rule 1(b) and Rule 4 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 habeas cases. The Court will order Respondent to file an answer, if necessary, after screening is complete. It is further ORDERED that Petitioner must promptly notify the Court in writing of any change of address by filing a written Notice of Change of Address with the Clerk of the Court. ELECTRONIC ORDER: Before the Court is Petitioner's Motion to Vacate his Dallas County convictions, Case Nos. F0300810 and F0300809. Doc. 4 . Petitioner, an alien detainee, filed the Motion to Vacate along with a fourth habeas corpus petition under 28 U.S.C. § 2241, challenging his detention pending removal. Doc. 2 at 7. Because the Motion to Vacate renews claims addressed and rejected in a related habeas case, the motion is DENIED as moot. See Kundra v. Warden Bluebonnet Det. Ctr., No. 1:26cv092-H (N.D. Tex. Apr. 15, 2026) (Hendrix, J.) (finding Petitioner could not challenge the validity of state-court judgment of convictions under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 and, construing his petition under 28 U.S.C. § 2254, he could not satisfy the in-custody requirement or overcome the one-year limitations period). (Ordered by Senior Judge Jane J Boyle on 4/16/2026) (chmb) (Entered: 04/16/2026)
