IN CHAMBERS ORDER by Judge R. Gary Klausner: Order Re: Petitioner's Motion for Preliminary Injunction 8 . Petitioner seeks the Court's order that she be released from custody primarily because she claims her detention violates the Fifth Amendment Due Process Clause because ICE allegedly deprived her ofmeaningful custody review. On March 10, 2026, the Court denied the TRO for failure to meet the ex parte standard for relief. (ECF No. 6.) On March 11, 2026, Petitioner filed a Preliminary Injunction on the same grounds as the TRO and requests her immediate release. (ECF No. 8.) On March 23, 2026, inresponse to the Preliminary Injunction, Respondents filed a Notice of Lack of Jurisdiction (ECF No. 11.) In the Notice, Respondents asse1i that this Court lacks jurisdiction because at the time of filing the Petition, Petitioner was not detained in this district, but rather was in Florence, Arizona, whichis in the District of Arizona. (Ex. A, ECF No. 11.) Currently, Respondent is detained in the Ehoy Federal Center Facility in Ehoy, Arizona, which is also in the District of Arizona.Here, the Court finds that transferring this action to the District of Arizona, where Petitioner is located, is in the interests of justice.Accordingly, the Court orders the case to be transferred to the District of Arizona.
