ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE by Judge Claria Horn Boom on 4/29/26: Respondents SHOW CAUSE why the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Complaint for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief, [R. 1 ], should not be granted, by no later than Monday, 5/4/2026. See 28 U.S.C. § 2243; Fed. R. Civ. P. 6(a). Petitioner SHALL file his reply by no later than Wednesday, 5/6/2026. A Hearing is scheduled for Friday, 5/8/2026, at the hour of 11:00 a.m., before the Honorable Claria Horn Boom, United States District Judge. The hearing will be held via Zoom. Counsel SHALL contact the Court's case manager, John Slone, at john_slone@kywd.uscourts.gov to arrange to appear on Zoom. Petitioner must notify the Court on or before Friday, 5/1/2026, if an interpreter is necessary for the hearing. If the Petitioner asserts that there are issues of fact necessary to be addressed in the hearing, then they SHALL inform the Respondents and provide notice to the Court by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, 5/5/2026, and the Respondent SHALL produce the body of the person detained at the hearing.
