MINUTE ORDER by District Judge Robert S. Huie: The briefing in this case reflects that Petitioner is subject to a final order of removal. Petitioner argues, among other things, that despite this order of removal there is no significant likelihood of his removal in the reasonably foreseeable future. Respondent states that on May 4, 2026, ICE received a travel document for Petitioner's removal and is actively working to schedule a removal flight. Petitioner's traverse is not yet due. In light of the foregoing, the Court's scheduling order adopting Chief Judge Order No. 144 is modified to permit Petitioner's lawful removal during the pendency of this case. In the event Petitioner is removed, Respondent shall promptly advise the Court. (All non-registered users served via U.S. Mail Service) (bbc) (Entered: 05/08/2026)

MINUTE ORDER by District Judge Robert S. Huie: The Petition alleges, inter alia, that Petitioner's detention without a bond hearing pending his removal proceedings has become unduly prolonged, and that there is no significant likelihood of his removal in the reasonably foreseeable future. Respondents have filed a status report reflecting that Petitioner has now been removed from the United States. Given this disposition, and the fact that Petitioner is no longer in custody, the Petition is hereby DISMISSED as moot. The Clerk of Court is directed to close the case. (bbc) (Entered: 07/06/2026)
