The federal respondents move on an emergency basis for Officer Tyler Adams to appear remotely at the August 12, 2026 evidentiary hearing on petitioner Angel Lemus Lopez's unlawful deportation. ECF No. 31. The respondents assert that Officer Adams is in Reno for meetings and is therefore "unable to return to Las Vegas timely for the hearing." Id. The motion is denied as untimely and for failure to adequately explain Officer Adam's inability to take a one-hour flight to appear at a hearing that was scheduled weeks in advance.
