MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Richard F. Boulware, II on 5/8/2026. Petitioner's counsel has notified the Court that Petitioner's whereabouts are currently unknown: "On May 4, 2026, Mr. Garcia-Espinoza was moved from the Washoe County Detention Facility. His current whereabouts are unknown to undersigned counsel. A search of his identifying information in the ICE Online Detainee Locator System produces no results. It is unknown if he remains in ICE custody." ECF No. 9 at 2. Respondents must apprise the Court of Petitioner's location as soon as possible. To that end, Respondents are HEREBY ORDERED to file a status report by 12:00 P.M. Monday, May 11, 2026 notifying this Court and Petitioner's counsel of Petitioner's current location.If Petitioner has been transferred outside of the District of Nevada, which notably would be in violation of this Court's April 24, 2026 4 Order, Respondents are FURTHER ORDERED to include in the status report details about the date, time, and location of the transfer and whether Respondents have already begun the process of returning Petitioner to this District.If Petitioner has been released from ICE custody, deported, transferred within the District, or for whatever other reason removed from Washoe County Detention Facility, Respondents must include details about the basis for this action, supported by accompanying documentation.
