Text Only Entry by U.S. Magistrate Judge A. Joel Richlin: The Court is in receipt of Petitioner's Motion for Preliminary Inunction and for a Temporary Restraining Order (the "PI Motion"). (Dkt. 10.) The Court notes that the PI Motion is signed by Petitioner acting pro se and dated April 23, 2026. (Id. at 5.) However, the Court also notes that the Office of the Federal Public Defender filed an appearance in this action on April 27, 2026. (Dkt. 9.) Respondents have filed a Return and the Court is now waiting for Petitioner to file a reply to the Return. Since Petitioner was previously proceeding pro se, Petitioner has until 5/7/26 to file a reply. Given that counsel appeared after the PI Motion was submitted by Petitioner pro se, the Court directs Petitioner to file a response no later than May 1, 2026 advising the Court whether he still wants to proceed on the PI Motion or whether Petitioner instead wants to file a reply. (IN CHAMBERS) TEXT-ONLY ENTRY by Magistrate Judge A. Joel Richlin: The Court is in receipt of Petitioner's Statement Regarding Briefing Schedule. (Dkt. 13 .) Petitioner advises that he does not wish to proceed on the pro se Motion for Preliminary Injunction and for a Temporary Restraining Order (the "PI Motion"), (Dkt. 10 ), and instead wishes to file a reply to the Return and will do so by May 7, 2026. Accordingly, the Court considers the PI Motion to be withdrawn. (Dkt. 10 ). The Court will consider the action to be fully briefed once Petitioner files his reply. IT IS SO ORDERED.
