ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Petitioner's Motion for Appointment of Counsel (Doc. 2 ) is denied without prejudice. Petitioner's request for a preliminary injunction (Doc. 1 at 8) is denied without prejudice. Respondent Cantu is dismissed. The Clerk of Court must substitute Todd Blanche for Respondent Bondi. Ground Four of the Petition is dismissed. The Clerk of Court must serve a copy of the Summons, the Petition (Doc. 1 ) and this Order upon the United States Attorney for the District of Arizona, the United States Attorney General and to Respondent(s) by certified mail. The Clerk of Court shall immediately transmit by email a copy of this Order and the Petition to the United States Attorney for the District of Arizona, to the attention of Melissa Kroeger, Lon Leavitt, Theo Nickerson, Dina Anagnopoulos, and Mary Finlon. Respondents must show cause no later than 4/16/2026, why the Petition should not be granted for the reasons set forth in Grounds One through Three.
