MINUTE ORDER Denying as Moot Petition. Presently before the Court is Petitioner's third 1 Petition for writ of habeas corpus filed in this District under 28 U.S.C. § 2241. For the same reason the Court denied as moot Petitioner's second such petition, see MINUTE ORDER Denying as Moot Petition, Jackson v. LaRose, Case No. 26-cv-1607 TWR (DDL) (entered Apr. 1, 2026), ECF No. 6, the Court DENIES AS MOOT the instant 1 Petition. To the extent Petitioner believes Respondents have failed to abide by the Honorable Barry T. Moskowitz's February 23, 2026 Order on Habeas Petition (ECF No. 9) in Jackson v. LaRose, Case No. 26-cv-392 BTM (VET), Petitioner should seek relief in that case, and--as the Court previously instructed--to the extent Petitioner wishes to challenge his criminal conviction, Petitioner should file a habeas petition in the district in which the challenged judgment of conviction was entered, see Dunne v. Henman, 875 F.2d 244, 248 (9th Cir. 1989), which appears to be the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. In either event, Petitioner should refrain from filing further successive petitions raising identical grounds for relief in this District.
